Welcome to our website!
Updated September 23, 2001

We've condensed our site to just three pages due to changes to the Homestead site. We'll keep the Devotional page and the eLaughs page.

Check our Devotional page for a call to prayer generated by the horrific events of September 11.  There's a song that says, "if we ever needed the Lord before, we sure do need him now."  Well, we're at that point!  The King is coming soon, amen?!

This summer has past so quickly!!  I transferred to the Missions department at work, and am now helping outgoing missionaries with visa and travel needs and questions.  It is great fun and it is rewarding.  Of course, this really whets my appetite for travel!  Maybe some day.  It's exciting to see all the areas of the world that people are willing to go for the Lord.  They need prayer as they go for safe passage, for favor in the lands they go to, for the times of adjustment to new things, and so much more.

I've read several books this summer, and just finished another one last evening.  Two that stand out that I have to recommend are "Safely Home" by Randy Alcorn, and "Drummer In The Dark" by T. Davis Bunn.  Both are Christian authors and have written captivating stories.  Another easy read is a little book by Jack Hayford called "How to Live Through a Bad Day", which contains valuable insights and encouragement from Jesus' crucifixion day.  I am going to reread it so that I can glean more from it.
